Salina’s School Improvement Plan serves as a blueprint of the actions and processes needed to make change.  The strategic and continuous plan focuses on quality instruction and high levels of student achievement.  It promotes the skills students need to be successful across the curriculum and beyond the classroom walls.  The plan has also helped to guide the allocation of resources, staff development, instructional practice and assessment.  

 

The school  improvement committee invested time and effort to create a well focused plan that not only addresses Salina’s immediate needs but is engrained in the culture and climate of the school, which will in turn reap benefits to our school and students over time.  As part of our communication plan- staff, students and parents are aware of the building goals and share in the responsibility of doing whatever it takes to ensure success.
