2. Click on Students
3. Scroll down and click on iLearn
4. Login with your username (your ID #) and password (your birthdate mmddyyyy)
5. Search: Salina 4^th Grade Summer Learning
6. Click on the course and enroll

Enrollment Key:   summer4

You will be expected to complete one reading response using a book from the library or from the MyOn book list created by your teacher, 4 math fact quizzes, and a writing prompt every 2 weeks.

During the weeks of June 27th-August 12th, our media centers will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00am-2pm for any student to check out books or use computers to complete summer learning.

Summer Learning: Math and Literacy

Dear Parent/Guardian,

      According to Johns Hopkins University, the effects of summer learning loss can result in nearly a three-month loss in grade-level equivalency in math and a two-month loss in grade-level equivalency in reading.  In order to close the summer learning loss gap in reading and math, middle school students will be enrolled in and expected to complete Summer Learning iLearn Courses. Students will choose books they like and want to read and practice math skills on the computer.  During the weeks of June 27th-August 12th, our media centers will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00am-2pm for any student to check out books or use computers to complete summer learning.  Below, you will find expectations for Math and Literacy courses.

Math:

• Log into Khan Academy and spend 60 minutes a week on math.

  Khan Academy username = student id, password = birthday in the format mmddyyyy—-ex.  
  birthday is November 4, 1986….password would be…11041986.

• Pass the Basic Skills tests listed under the grade YOU WILL BE ENTERING in the fall.

  The Basic Skills tests are on iLearn under  Summer Learning  for your
  School. You can also access Khan Academy through the iLearn Course.

 

Literacy:

• Read 2-5 books
• Complete log
• Complete 60 minutes of MobyMax a week (*MobyMax username = student id, password = birthday in the format mmddyyyy—-ex. birthday is November 4, 1986….password would be…11041986)

Reading logs and MobyMax link are located in iLearn under Summer Learning 2016  for your school.

الدورة الصيفية : الرياضيات و اللغة الانكليزية

 

أولياء الأمور و الاوصياء الأعزاء:

بناء على دراسة لجامعة جون هوبكنز إن  الانقطاع عن الدراسة خلال الصيف  قد يسفر عن تراجع الطالب بما يعادل فترة زمنية قد تصل الى الثلاثة  أشهر تقريبا من فترة الدراسة العادية في مادة الرياضيات، و الشهرين في مادة القراءة. من أجل التخلص من هذه الفجوة التعليمية التي من الممكن أن تنشأ عن حلول فصل الصيف في القراءة والرياضيات، سيتم تسجيل طلاب المرحلة الاعدادية في صفوف تعليمية صيفية على موقع I Learn الالكتروني ، سيقوم الطلاب بإختيار عدد من الكتب و المبادئ الرياضية التي يرغبون بالعمل عليها عبر شبكة الانترنت . كما يسرنا اعلامكم بان المركز الاعلامي في مدرستنا سيكون مفتوح امام الطلاب في الفترة بين 27 حزيران – 12 آب 2016 أيام الثلاثاء و الاربعاء و الخميس من الساعة 11:00 الى 2:00 ظ، ليتمكنوا من العمل على إتمام الواجبات الصيفية .

اليكم في ما يلي كيفية الحصول على مستلزمات الدراسة  لمادتي الرياضيت و الفراءة:

الرياضيات:

•         تسجيل الدخول الى موقع خان اكاديمي.قضاء 60 دقيقة اسبوعياً في التمرن على مهارات مادة الرياضيات.

اسم المستخدم = رقم الطالب

كلمة السر = تاريخ ميلاد الطالب على الشكل التالي ( –/ –/—-/)الشهر – اليوم – السنة . مثال ( 11-04-1986)

•         النجاح في امتحان المهارات الاساسية الموجود تحت اسم/ رقم الصف الذي ستدخله في العام الدراسي القادم. ستجد امتحان المهارات الاساسية على موقع أي ليرن تحت عنوان التعلم الصيفي لمدرستك.كما يمكنك ايضاً الدخول الى موقع خان اكاديمي عبر الأي ليرن.

اللغة الانكليزية:

•         اقرأ 2-5 كتب
•         اكمل سجل القراءة
•         اكمل 60 دقيقية من العمل على موقع موبي ماكس اسبوعياً.
