Welcome to “March is Reading”month at Salina Intermediate. We have many exciting reading activities planned this month. Students should also celebrate reading each evening by reading for at least 30 minutes with an adult. Parents, make it a point to read with your children and discuss the book, article or magazine. Students can even use their computer and read their good fit books online. M-Step testing will begin soon. Below is the schedule by grade level for this online assessment:
The testing window for grades 5th, 8th and 11th will be from April 10th-May 5th. The window for grades 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 7th will be from May 1st– May 26th. Students in grades 3rd-8^th will be taking the M-Step English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. In addition, Science for grades 4th and 7th and Social Studies for grades 5th and 8th.
