Students will choose one good fit book. They will read it over the summer and use the rubric as a guide to create both a written and artistic representation of the themes and conflicts in the book. (students can choose to make a diorama, a slideshow, a piece of artwork, an evidence folder resembling something a lawyer would have a courtroom , etc). Students will analyze the text and provide evidence to substantiate the types of conflict presented by the author as well as the themes represented throughout the book.
