Dear Parents/Guardians,
The FDA has approved the Pfizer vaccine for adults and children 12 years of age and older.
The Dearborn Public Schools is partnering with the Detroit Medical Center to bring a mobile vaccine distribution site to Salina Intermediate School for students 12 years and older.
Parents may register their child to receive the Pfizer vaccine on May 26th at the Salina Intermediate School site. Parents can also sign up to receive the vaccine if interested. Reminder, your child MUST be 12 years of age or older to get the vaccine. Appointments will be scheduled between 8 a.m. – 5p.m.

A parent or guardian MUST attend with the student if the student is younger than 18 years old.
The second dose will be administered on June 16th at Salina Intermediate School.
After you register, DMC will call to schedule a specific appointment time that day.
Although we understand parents have personal choice when it comes to the well being of their child, the District strongly feels that all measures to slow the spread of COVID 19, including vaccinations, are the best way to promote overall health and safety in our community and the surest path to a return to in person learning for all students.

لقد وافقت ادارة الاغذية والدواء الامريكية على إعطاء لقاح فايزر للاطفال من سن الثانيه عشر عاما وما فوق
تعمل مدارس ديربورن الرسمية بالتعاون مع مركز ديترويت الطبي (DMC) لتوفير مركز متنقل لإعطاء اللقاح في مدرسة سيلاينا المتوسطة يوم ٢٦ أيار \ مايو.
يمكن للأهل تسجيل أسماء أبنائهم لتلقي لقاح فايزر في سيلاينا المتوسطة يوم ٢٦ أيار\ مايو. كما يمكن للوالدين أيضًا تحديد موعد لتلقي اللقاح. تذكير – يجب أن يبلغ طفلك ١٢ من العمر أو أكثر للحصول على اللقاح.
تم تحديد المواعيد بين الساعة ٨ ص – ٥ م.

يجب على أحد الوالدين أو الوصي الحضور مع الطالب إذا كان عمر الطالب أقل من ١٨ عامًا.
سيتم إعطاء الجرعة الثانية في ١٦ حزيران \ يونيو في مدرسة سيلاينا المتوسطة.
سوف يقوم مركز ديترويت الطبي بالاتصال بكم بعد التسجيل لتحديد موعد لأخذ اللقاح.
نتفهم أن لدى الأهل خياراتهم الشخصية فيما يتعلق بصحة و عافية أبنائهم ، إلا أننا في القطاع التعليمي نؤمن و بشدة بأن اتخاذ جميع التدابير الممكنة لإبطاء انتشار كوفيد- 19 ، بما في ذلك اللقاحات ، هي أفضل طريقة لتعزيز الصحة والسلامة العامة لمجتمعنا و أسرع طريق للعودة إلى التعلم الشخصي لجميع الطلاب.
