The Operations team, engineers, custodial staff, and many others continue their tireless efforts to make schools ready for staff and students taking part in our summer learning program. DTE crews have restored power at many locations but a few areas are still without power. We continue to remain in contact with DTE for updates.
Salina Elementary and Salina Intermediate will remain closed on Wednesday, June 30th and Thursday July 1st. An electrical issue remains at both schools. At Salina Intermediate water needs to be pumped out of the basement and air filtration systems need to be cleaned and tested.
