Summer Camp Week of July 5:
The operations team, engineers, custodial staff and many others continue their tireless efforts to make schools ready for staff and students taking part in our summer learning program. DTE crews have restored power at many locations but a few areas are still without power. We continue to remain in contact with DTE for updates.
Salina Elementary and Salina Intermediate will remain closed on Monday July 5th. An electrical issue remains at both schools and in the neighborhood. At Salina Intermediate, air filtration systems need to be cleaned and tested. A decision will be made by 5:00 pm on Monday July 5th regarding whether the schools will be open or closed the rest of the week.
Salina Intermediate will distribute food on Thursday, July 8th on the usual schedule 12:30-1:30
