Dear Salina Families,
On behalf of our entire Salina staff, we would like to welcome your family back to school. We are looking forward to this new school year, building upon our success, continuing to improve and always working to put students’ first! We have overcome many challenges during the global pandemic! The staff and I appreciate your patience, support and perseverance as we work as a team to help all of our students learn the essential skills and standards of our curriculum. We will continue to rise and work together to do what’s best for student’s safety, social and emotional wellbeing and academics. With safety being a priority, the district will continue to require that all staff and students wear a mask while in a school building.
We hope that you all had an outstanding and relaxing summer! Many of our students were part of a historical summer program. Our summer school program was one of the largest and the first of its kind. Many of our Salina School teachers and staff were also part of it! They worked hard to meet the needs of our students.
We are very proud to continue our schools’ tradition of high expectations and excellence in education. Despite the challenges we faced in the past, we plan to build upon our success from last school year. Our staff and students have become experts in technology integration, we have learned to be more flexible and adapt with all the changes that have come our way! More importantly, we overcome these challenges together! By working together as a school community, we will continue to have a positive impact in the lives of students attending our school.

عائلات سيلاينا الأعزاء ،
بالنيابة عن جميع موظفي سيلاينا ، نود أن نرحب بعودة عائلاتكم إلى المدرسة. نتطلع إلى بداية هذا العام الدراسي الجديد ، والبناء على نجاحنا ، والاستمرار في التحسن والعمل دائمًا على وضع الطلاب في المرتبة الأولى! لقد تغلبنا على العديد من التحديات خلال الوباء العالمي! نقدر أنا والموظفون صبركم ودعمكم ومثابرتهم لأننا نعمل كفريق واحد لمساعدة جميع طلابنا على تعلم المهارات الأساسية ومعايير مناهجنا الدراسية. سنستمر في النهوض والعمل معًا لفعل ما هو أفضل من أجل سلامة ورفاهه الطلاب الاجتماعي والعاطفي والأكاديمي. مع اعتبار السلامة أولوية ، سوف يستمر القطاع التعليمي في مطالبة جميع الموظفين والطلاب بارتداء الأقنعة الواقية / الكمامات أثناء تواجدهم في مبنى المدرسة.
