All 8th grade students across the Dearborn School district will be taking the PSAT 8 exam on April 13, 2022. The PSAT 8 exam is a readiness baseline that allows students to focus on areas of practice and promotes college readiness. The PTSA 8 tests the same skills as the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT 10, but on an 8th grade level. The PSAT 8 is essentially an admission to your SAT. The test will start promptly at the beginning of the school day Wednesday, so please ensure your child(ren) are in school on time. It will be important to prepare your child for this test by emphasizing the following:
● Getting a good night’s sleep
● Eating a nutritious breakfast
● Leaving cell phones at home or in a locker
