Dear Salina Families,

On behalf of our entire Salina Salina staff, we would like to welcome your family back to school.  We hope that you all had an outstanding and relaxing summer!  We are looking forward to this new school year, building upon our success, continuing to improve and always working to put students’ first!  The staff and I appreciate your patience, support and perseverance as we work as a team to help all of our students learn the essential skills and standards of our curriculum.  We will continue to rise and work together to do what’s best for student’s safety, social and emotional wellbeing and academics.  

We are very proud to continue our schools’ tradition of high expectations and excellence in education.We plan to build upon our success from last school year. Our staff and students have become experts in technology integration, we have learned to be more flexible and adapt with all the changes that have come our way! By working together as a school community, we will continue to have a positive impact in the lives of students attending our school.

Open House this year will be on August 25 from 1:00PM-3:00PM.  This will include a chance to tour the school, visit classrooms, meet your child’s teachers and staff.  The first day of school will be on Monday August 28 and breakfast will be served to all students from 7:45-8:15.  Students will be dismissed at 11:30AM.

Please check Parent Connect for schedules on August 24 as we are still finalizing changes to scheduling.  Printed schedules will also be available on August 25 during Open House.  Fall sports for middle school will be Football for the boys and Volleyball for the girls.  You can obtain more information on sports physicals and how to sign up!We will also have C-ASSIT present at Salina from 11AM-4PM on August 25 to give away $15 dollar gift cards, backpacks, and school supplies.  They will also complete school physicals and wellness checks for the entire family.  This includes vaccinations, COVID and Flu vaccines for all (See flyers below for more details)

We look forward to working with all of the students, their families, and community members as we unite together to ensure that our students are successful at Salina Intermediate during the 2023-24 school year. عائلات سيلاينا الأعزاء ،

بالنيابة عن جميع موظفي سيلاينا ، نود أن نرحب بعودة عائلاتكم  إلى المدرسة. نتطلع إلى بداية هذا العام الدراسي الجديد ، والبناء على نجاحنا ، والاستمرار في التحسن والعمل دائمًا على وضع الطلاب في المرتبة الأولى! لقد تغلبنا على العديد من التحديات! نقدر أنا والموظفون صبركم ودعمكم ومثابرتهم لأننا نعمل كفريق واحد لمساعدة جميع طلابنا على تعلم المهارات الأساسية ومعايير مناهجنا الدراسية.  سنستمر في النهوض والعمل معًا لفعل ما هو أفضل من أجل سلامة ورفاهه الطلاب الاجتماعي والعاطفي والأكاديمي.

سيكون البيت المفتوح هذا العام في 25 أغسطس من الساعة 1:00 ظهرا حتى الساعة 3:00. سيشمل ذلك فرصة للقيام بجولة في المدرسة وزيارة الفصول الدراسية ومقابلة معلمي طفلك وموظفيه. سيكون اليوم الأول من المدرسة يوم الاثنين 28 أغسطس وسيتم تقديم وجبة الإفطار لجميع الطلاب من 7:45-8:15 صباحًا. سيتم فصل الطلاب في الساعة 11:30 صباحًا.
