The C-ASSIST family free health clinic is working with your child’s school to give appropriate
vaccinations according to the immunization schedule to children at school. We will hold monthly
vaccination clinics at Salina Intermediate. The first clinic will be on December 5th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm in the conference room. This service will be offered by appointment only. School staff may contact you if your child is not up to date on immunizations.
Qualifying families can benefit from this service who are on medicaid or without insurance. There will be no cost to you. Only vaccines you agree upon will be given.
If you would like to find out more information for your family, and how to get them vaccinated, please call the C-Assist Clinic at (313) 670-9943 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For more information about routine childhood vaccines, please visit the CDC website at Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule by Age. Your child’s health care provider can also answer your questions about the different kinds of vaccinations and their importance to your child’s health.
