Greetings,
I would like to follow up regarding information that was shared with everyone this morning about comments made on social media.
The Dearborn Police, working with school administrators, were able to identify the person responsible for making the comments. Fortunately, there was no serious threat to any student or our school. However, the person now faces very serious discipline and possible criminal prosecution for making false and threatening comments.
Those who seek to disrupt our community with false messages, rumors, and insightful words will not only face legal action from the justice system but, if found to be students of the Dearborn Public Schools, will face the full force of our disciplinary actions including an immediate 10 day suspension and possilbe permanent expulsion from the district.
Again, I want to thank the brave Upstanders who did the right thing and reported the comments directly to school authorities. By sharing this information quickly we, along with the Dearborn Police, were able to take swift action to keep our school safe. Parents, please use this incident as a way to talk to your child about the importance of doing the right thing and sharing information with trusted adults and the serious consequences they may face if they decide to post or send comments that insight fear or disrupt the operation of our school.
We have a great community here at Salina with supportive parents, incredible staff members, and awesome students. Let’s continue to work together, communicate, and build the very best Salina school for all students.

تمكنت شرطة ديربورن، بالتعاون مع إدارة المدرسة، من تحديد الشخص المسؤول عن المنشورات التهديدية. لحسن الحظ، لم يكن هناك تهديد خطير لأي طالب أو لمدرستنا. ومع ذلك، فسوف يواجه هذا الشخص الإجراءات التأديبية الجادة للغاية و المقاضاة الجنائية المحتملة بسبب نشر تعليقات كاذبة و تهديدية.
أولئك الذين يسعون إلى تعطيل عمل مجتمعنا برسائل كاذبة وشائعات وكلمات مثيرة للجدل لن يواجهوا فقط إجراءات قانونية من قِبل السلطات القانونية، ولكن إذا تبين أنهم طلاب في مدارس ديربورن الرسمية، فسوف يواجهون القوة الكاملة لإجراءاتنا التأديبية بما في ذلك الطرد الفوري لمدة ١٠ أيام وإمكانية الفصل الدائم من مدارس القطاع.
مرة أخرى، أود أن أشكر الشجعان الذين فعلوا الشيء الصحيح وابلغوا بالتعليقات مباشرة إلى سلطات المدرسة. من خلال مشاركة هذه المعلومات بسرعة، تمكنا، جنبًا إلى جنب مع شرطة ديربورن، من اتخاذ إجراءات سريعة للحفاظ على مدرستنا آمنة. نتمنى من أولياء الأمور الكرام الاستفادة من هذا الحادث للتحدث مع أطفالكم حول أهمية القيام بالشيء الصحيح ومشاركة المعلومات مع البالغين الموثوق بهم وتذكيرهم بالمخاطر والعواقب الوخيمة التي قد يواجهونها إذا قرروا نشر أو إرسال تعليقات تبعث على الخوف أو تعطل عمل مدرستنا.
يتمتع مجتمع سيلاينا الرائع بنسيج من الأهالي المساندين والداعمين وأفراد طاقم عمل متفانين وطلاب مميزين. دعونا نستمر بالعمل والتعاون معاً لبناء سيلاينا أفضل لجميع الطلاب.
